Subject: Operation Smile

Description: Operation Smile is an international NPO that dedicates its goal to the repairing cleft lips and palates of children in mainly underdeveloped societies. The Organisation itself has clearly shown it's sustainability by more than 20 years of serving and 210 000 surgeries later and there is an Operation Smile South Africa Chapter in Cape Town offering a sustainable support system.

The function this society will serve is focused at primarily creating awareness on a medical campus, creating a platform for further involvement through fundraising, awareness events and ultimately sending students on international missions all over Africa. As it is an incredibly big privilege to go on a mission, it is merit based.
